Sandblasted glasses involve the issue, that soilings are hardly or not removable. A common silicon-based grip protection impregnation, which is used most times, becomes weaker on satined or matted glass through frequent or wrong cleaning and finally loses its effect. As a result conventionally non-removable streaks and stains appear. To prevent this from happening, we can equipe every sandblasted glass with a premium grip protection or a permanent nano-coating respectively nano-sealing.
This kind of coating minimizes the contact of dirt particles with the glass surface. Due to the hydrophobic and oleophobic (water and oil resistent) effect dirt particles as fat and oily substances, lime as well as pollutive substances, are not able to adhere and can be removed without the use of abrasive detergents. The nano-coating undergoes a chemical bond with the coated glass and can only be removed by resandblasting it.
